Requirements:
- Must be the age of 18 and older.
- Must be able to drop off/pick up at our location in Bentonville, AR.
- Artists must submit up to 5 distinct works for consideration.
- Artworks must include Title, Year, Medium, Dimensions (cm), Price in dollars (or NFS), First Name and Surname
Exhibition details:
Duration: 3 months: must be available 9/15/24-12/31/2024 for installation and deinstallation.
Decision Date: TBD (Preemptively deciding toward the end of August)
The Midnight Gallery does not currently insure artworks while on consignment, but we are actively inquiring and plan to in the future. Please note that currently insurance and delivery (both ways) is the responsibility of the artist! Proof of liability may be requested by The Midnight Gallery prior to exhibit set-up.
Limitation of Liability: The Organizer is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to the property of the Exhibitor, their employees or representatives. Further, the Organizer will not be liable for damage or injury to persons or property from any cause whatsoever by reason of the use or occupancy of the booth space or the participation in the Event by the Exhibitor. The Exhibitor assumes entire responsibility for and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and save the Organizer and their employees and agents, harmless against all claims, losses and damages to persons property, governmental charges or fines and attorneys’ fees arising out of or caused by the Exhibitor or exhibitor’s installation, removal, maintenance, occupancy or use of the exhibition premises or a part thereof, excluding any such liability caused by the sole negligence of the Organizer, their employees or agents.
Exhibitor Loss: The Midnight Gallery shall not be in any way liable or responsible for the loss or disappearance, by theft or otherwise, of any object, items, goods or materials whether personal or commercial property, within the gallery space. The Midnight Gallery may provide certain security services as a convenience to exhibitors, however, neither the providing of or failure to provide such services, nor the failure of security guards to prevent the theft or loss of property, shall be grounds for holding the Organizer or the facility liable for any related loss, damage, or claim. Responsibility for the security of an exhibitor’s area, product and property rests soles with the Exhibitor.
Exhibitor Regestration/submission: By submitting to this application, you are acknowledging that you are a local artist that lives and practices within 100 miles of the Bentonville, AR area. By registering with us as an Exhibitor, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and not a minor in your state of residence, and that, if you are executing an Exhibitor Contract and any other part of the Exhibitor Agreements on behalf of an entity, you have been duly authorized to so act by such entity. We reserve the right to modify our policies regarding our exhibitors at any time upon notice to you. To the extent that you register for multiple Events, you agree to adhere to any such new policies once we have made you aware of all such modifications. If you do not agree to abide by the provisions of the Exhibitor Agreements, you are not authorized to attend any Event as an exhibitor.
Eligibility: The Organizer, in its sole discretion, determines whether a prospective Exhibitor is eligible to participate in the Event. The Organizer reserves the right to reject an application for exhibit space including, without limitation, those submitted by applicants whose product or service would not be in the best interest of the Organizer or the Event.
No show policy: If the Exhibitor/Artist is delayed in arrival or set-up, the Exhibitor must notify the Organizer at the Event facility. Non- notification may result in the spot being given to another prospective Artist.
There is a possibility that works can rotate through the quarterly exhibition if sold during the duration of the exhibit. This will be decided through partnership, collaboration, and clear communication with the artist. We may ask for additional documentation and contact information if necessary if you are selected.
The Midnight Gallery will retain a 20% commission total on all sales made during the exhibition. Please factor this amount when determining your prices.
We do not require that your works be for sale; please list NFS under the price description if applicable.
